Each sweet potato from Oita Prefecture, 'Beniharuka', is carefully washed, steamed with the skin on in a steam kettle, then further baked in a pot to bring out the sweetness. A special sweet bean paste made with butter and egg yolks is wrapped in a separate dough, placed in a mold, and baked slowly to create a 'realistic and more delicious sweet potato dessert'.
A rich pudding made with Jersey milk from Aso Koguni, accented with a slightly bitter caramel sauce. Sandwiched with custard cream in a fluffy pancake-like dorayaki skin.
A dorayaki sandwich made with homemade red bean paste, carefully cooked with Hokkaido-grown 'Ogura' azuki beans since the founding of the store, and sandwiched between a fluffy honey-infused dorayaki skin. This is a specialty dorayaki from Kikuya.
A baked confectionery wrapped in pie crust with red bean paste kneaded with crushed walnuts. The 'Bondia', known for its buttery aroma, crunchy texture of walnuts, and rich flavor that is not too sweet, was created in 1978 to commemorate the sister city relationship between the city of Aviero in Portugal and Oita. 'Bondia' means 'good morning' or 'have a nice day' in Portuguese.
