Kōfuku Shifuku is the first restaurant in Yamaguchi Prefecture where you can savor exquisite fugu dishes. Along with warm hospitality, you can enjoy incredibly fresh seafood and the chef's carefully crafted charcoal-grilled meat dishes. The pairing with a variety of local sake is exceptional, with particularly popular dishes being nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) and tempura of hamo (pike eel). The calm interior also features private rooms.

In addition to the counter and table seats, there is also a raised area that is comfortable. The fugu is very delicious, and the grilled nodoguro has a sweetness that can be further enjoyed when paired with condiments. The tempura of hamo is crispy and light, while the inside is fluffy. The shime-saba and aori-ika sashimi are also excellent, and the careful preparation is evident from the first appetizer that is served. The sake has a pleasant aroma and is easy to drink, and the cut glass is impressive. It's also nice to be able to enjoy soba at the end, and the private rooms are popular, so it's reassuring to make a reservation in advance.
