A heartwarming public izakaya

Hara Ippai is a cozy public izakaya loved by locals, conveniently located just a short walk from Kintetsu Nitta Bane Station. With a rich menu and carefully prepared dishes, it delights the palates of its visitors. The inviting atmosphere allows for a relaxed experience in tatami seating, where you can fully enjoy the warm hospitality, signature shochu, and delicious food.

Located in a corner near the station, I was surprised to find it larger than I expected when I entered. The main seating is on tatami mats, with a small counter as well, making it comfortable for both individuals and groups. The wall board and the menu on the table are lined with dishes, making the selection process enjoyable. Every dish that comes out is carefully prepared, and the chicken sashimi, in particular, is perfectly seared and fresh. The chikuwa cheese tempura and butter-fried shimeji mushrooms are also substantial and pair well with drinks. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff is warm, making it feel perfect for parties.
