Exquisite eel enjoyed in a shopping mall

Unagi Ogura Sanjusan is a restaurant that offers authentic eel despite being located within a shopping mall. The Kanto-style eel, steamed and then grilled, stands out with its fluffy texture and juiciness, filling the air with a savory aroma. The sauce clings beautifully to the rice, creating a perfect harmony of sweetness and refreshing flavor. The traditional Japanese atmosphere enhances a pleasant dining experience.

4.0

Located in a corner of the mall, the wooden tables and tatami chairs create a calm and pleasant Japanese atmosphere. The eel, steamed and then grilled to a fragrant finish, is fluffy and pairs perfectly with the lightly sweet sauce and rice. The rice is cooked slightly firm, making it easy to eat without becoming sticky even when soaked in the sauce. The table's sansho pepper has a high aroma and is not too spicy, enhancing the flavor of the eel refreshingly. The grilled liver is crispy, fragrant, and rich in umami, while the liver soup is light and comforting. You can also enjoy beef boxes, roast beef boxes, rolled omelet, and smaller chawanmushi, and it's nice that they pay attention to refilling the barley tea.

4.3

Located in the food area of the mall, it has an easy-to-enter atmosphere. The eel, steamed and then grilled, is fluffy and has a wonderful aroma. The rice grains are slightly smaller and cooked a bit firmer, perfectly complementing the light sweetness of the sauce. The grilled liver is crispy and aromatic, packed with a chewy umami flavor. The clear soup is refreshing, and when paired with pickles, it leaves a clean taste in the mouth. The chawanmushi is creamy with eel and shrimp, and the staff's attention to detail with the barley tea is pleasant.
