Each sweet potato from Oita Prefecture, 'Beniharuka', is carefully washed, steamed with the skin on in a steam kettle, then further baked in a pot to bring out the sweetness. A special sweet bean paste made with butter and egg yolks is wrapped in a separate dough, placed in a mold, and slowly baked to create a 'realistic and more delicious sweet potato dessert'.
A rich pudding made with Jersey milk from Aso Koguni, accented with a slightly bitter caramel sauce. Sandwiched together with custard cream in a fluffy pancake-like dorayaki skin.
A dorayaki sandwich made with homemade sweet red bean paste, made from carefully cooked Hokkaido adzuki beans called 'Ogura', which has been protected since the founding of the store, and honey added to a fluffy baked dorayaki skin. This is a specialty dorayaki from Kikuya.
Bondia is a baked confectionery that wraps red bean paste mixed with crushed walnuts in pie dough. It features a buttery aroma, the texture of walnuts, and a rich flavor that is not too sweet. It was created in 1978 to commemorate the sister city relationship between the city of Aviero in Portugal and Oita. 'Bondia' means 'good morning' or 'have a good day' in Portuguese.
