Located on the upper floor of a jazz café, opening the sliding door reveals a warm atmosphere. A kind couple welcomes you, and you can relax in the tatami room or at the counter. When you roughly convey what you want to eat, they serve a well-balanced selection. The sashimi of tuna, swordfish, and octopus caught in Kesennuma is all very fresh, with the swordfish being particularly melt-in-your-mouth. The grilled flounder, suiton (a type of dumpling), deep-fried skewers, tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet), and fried chicken each showcase their unique flavors, with the fried chicken being well-seasoned and the tonkatsu being tender. The dish of shidoke (a type of wild vegetable) and shirasu (young sardines), as well as the dish of swordfish and okra, and the rich crab miso, can all be enjoyed with sake, leaving you very satisfied.
