This is a small yakitori shop located in a shopping street a short walk from Hankyu Mukonoso Station. The interior, with only a counter, has a sense of age and a retro atmosphere that is calming. The owner, who may seem brusque, is friendly once you start talking, and the fun of writing your own order on a memo adds to the experience. The specialty chicken skin is crispy after the fat has rendered, allowing for a rich taste of both aroma and umami. The cartilage and chicken wings are also carefully grilled, with a perfect balance of the outer crispiness and the juiciness inside. The chicken soup we had to finish was gently rich and provided a comforting cup.
