The calm atmosphere of the alley in the shopping street is wonderful. From the very first dish, the careful craftsmanship is conveyed, and it makes me excited. The fugu sashimi served with handmade ponzu is refreshing, and the grilled and fried dishes are plump and full of flavor. From the kelp broth hot pot to the final rice porridge, the flow is pleasant and satisfying. The seasonal dishes are also enjoyable, with items like thinly sliced conger eel, sweetfish, and yam served in a somen-style dish, showcasing the flavors of the season one after another. The fragrant fin sake also left an impression, and I felt that the skills honed in Kyoto were shining through.

In a calm shop located on a path that exudes the scent of the Showa era, the atmosphere is pleasant from the moment you enter. You can feel the craftsmanship in each dish, and I was excited from the appetizers. The crunchy bitter melon and the slightly bitter simmered young sweetfish pair well with the drinks. The fugu, whether served as sashimi, grilled, fried, or in a hot pot, has a distinct flavor that goes well with the homemade ponzu sauce. You can fully enjoy the seasonal flavors with dishes like conger eel, sweetfish, ultra-thin yam somen, and conger eel shabu, all the way to the last noodles. The chilled sake served in a bamboo container and the aromatic hirezake are unforgettable drinks.
