Izakaya Miraku is a cozy, hidden izakaya that charms with its homey vibe. The dishes, which blend Korean home cooking with classic izakaya fare, offer a perfect level of spiciness that pairs wonderfully with drinks. This establishment also features unique beverages, including the popular 'hige-cha highball.'

The entrance is somewhat hidden, but once you step inside, you are greeted by friendly staff in a warm atmosphere. The interior is non-smoking, and the cheerful voices of regular customers resonate pleasantly, making it a comfortable place. The time spent comparing the recommendations on the short strips of paper and boards on the walls is exciting. They offer a variety of authentic Korean home-cooked dishes, and I was particularly satisfied with the steamed eggs, seafood pancakes, and grilled tteokbokki. The barley tea highball is fragrant, with a snack-like aroma that spreads gently, making it very easy to drink. There are dishes with a good level of spiciness, but if you mention that you are not good with spicy food, they will recommend a dish that is easier to eat.
