In a space that makes use of an old traditional house, the sturdy wooden framework and the view of the garden create a cozy atmosphere. The entrance is slightly set back, so I got a bit lost, but that added to the feeling of being in a hidden retreat. The soba noodles are thin and firm, with a smooth texture that is pleasant to the throat. The duck broth is thick and rich, perfectly complementing the tender meat, which was impressive. The tempura has a light and crispy batter, and the colorful shrimp and seasonal vegetables were delightful, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. The style allows you to enter while wearing shoes, and the casualness reminiscent of a café makes it a comfortable place where you end up staying longer than intended.
