I found this place in a bustling corner of the market, and my heart raced at the lineup of shellfish. When I had a large oyster shucked right in front of me and drizzled with ponzu, the sweetness and aroma of the sea spread instantly. Holding a bowl of rice and miso soup, the style of having my favorite sashimi as a side dish was playful and enjoyable. The tuna bowl, filled with everything from fatty tuna to seared pieces, was perfectly complemented by the slightly seasoned rice. While the fresh smell of fish wafted around, the seating was clean and allowed for a calm dining experience. I loved that I could buy sea urchin and fish on the spot to take home, so I could savor the aftertaste at home as well.
