The shop by the lake has a pleasant view of the mountains and the water surface from the window. The specialty, wakasagi don (smelt rice bowl), has a freshly fried aroma that whets the appetite. The batter is fragrant and light, while the fish is moist, and the rich sauce blends well. The bowl comes with a salad and miso soup, providing a sense of satisfaction. I also ordered soba, and the noodles have a pleasant elasticity, with the broth being slightly sweet and aromatic. While enjoying the view in front of me, I was able to savor both the fried food and the noodles until the very end.
