Nestled quietly at a corner of a residential area, the contrast of the white walls and black wooden panels catches the eye. Upon entering, you find a long, narrow space with a table resembling a traditional irori (sunken hearth) and an old chest, creating a calm Japanese atmosphere. The friendly staff, a parent and child, welcomed me, and I was able to relax right away. The siphon-brewed Wiener coffee, topped with a mountain of fluffy whipped cream, looked very cute with mini cookies floating on top. The café chocolat, served in colorful cups, had a harmonious blend of nutty and chocolate aromas, with a smooth mouthfeel. Light dishes like toast were also available, and I was able to unwind while watching the local regulars enjoy their time.
