I casually walked into an old-fashioned soba shop located in a residential area. When I ordered the curry soba with katsu, it came with plenty of hot, thick curry, and a generous serving of freshly fried katsu on top. The katsu was crispy at first, and then became moist as it absorbed the curry, making it delicious in two different ways. Thanks to the thick curry, it stayed warm enough to produce steam until the end, keeping me cozy even on a cold day. The portion of noodles was more than I expected, making it very satisfying to eat. There was also a thoughtful touch of providing paper aprons, leaving me completely satisfied both in my stomach and in my heart.
