It's easy to get to by car, and there's a spacious parking lot next to the store, which is reassuring. After ordering, they prepare, steam, and grill the eel, so there is a bit of a wait, but this time actually builds excitement. The eel and rice are served separately in a two-tiered box, and it's fun to adjust the sauce and sansho pepper to your liking. The eel has a crispy, fragrant skin, while the flesh is fluffy and the fat seeps out, making it truly delicious. The liver soup has a rich broth and is piping hot, and the pickles are crunchy, making for a nice palate cleanser. The quiet interior allows for a relaxed dining experience, and I finished my meal feeling happy all the way to the end.
