The small L-shaped counter in the narrow alley has a calming atmosphere that makes you feel at ease even on your first visit. When you sit at the counter, the owner pours you a bottle of beer and lightens the mood with fun sound effect toys. The appetizer of soft tofu has a gentle flavor that warms your body on a cold day. The yakisoba made with noodles directly shipped from Yaeyama has a great chewiness, and the umami of the vegetables and pork clings to the noodles, making it hard to put down your chopsticks. The sashimi of bluefin tuna is incredibly fresh, and when paired with on-the-rocks awamori, the scent of the sea is even more pronounced. Conversations with the friendly owner are enjoyable, and before you know it, you feel like a regular in this cozy place.
