In a house in the mountains, the well-maintained atmosphere of an old farmhouse is very calming. I was guided to a spacious tatami room with a sunken hearth, and I felt relieved by the vegetable decorations. Various dishes made with organic vegetables from the farm and free-range eggs were brought out, each with a gentle flavor. Even the pasta, ham, and cheese are handmade in the shop, and the handmade ravioli and duck dishes left a lasting impression. When I asked questions, they kindly explained everything, and it was enjoyable to hear stories about Sicily and the quails and native chickens on the farm. It is a space where only one group can relax comfortably, providing a pleasant escape from the busyness.
