Exquisite unaju to savor in Hiroshima

Unagi Naruse is a popular restaurant known for its fluffy eel. The eel, which is steamed before being grilled, is aromatic, and the condiments of wasabi and green onions enhance its flavor even more. You can enjoy your meal in a cozy atmosphere. This is a rare gem in Hiroshima where you can indulge in eel dishes.

It's a style where you take off your shoes to enter, and it has a counter and tables, making it comfortable. The menu is focused on unaju (grilled eel over rice), and it's easy to choose with pictures of the different options: Matsutake, Take, and Ume. The eel is steamed and then grilled, making the flesh tender and fragrant, which makes it easy to eat. In addition to sansho (Japanese pepper), you can enjoy variations in flavor with wasabi, green onions, pickled ginger, and cucumber. It also comes with a clear soup, and the portion feels quite substantial. The parking is limited, but there is a nearby coin parking lot that is helpful.
