This is a proud dish of our restaurant, featuring herring (from the Maehama area), which is said to be derived from the name of the town of Zenibako, simmered in sweet sauce and served with fish roe. The bones have been removed, so you can enjoy it without worrying about small bones.

Served hot with dashi!! Enjoy the flavor change with dashi chazuke!

The rice is basically vinegared rice. It is also possible to change it to plain rice.
