I always order the Takumi Hitsumabushi. The amount of rice can be chosen as small, medium, or large; my mother-in-law and wife choose small, I choose medium, and my son chooses large. This system of being able to choose helps avoid food waste and is considerate to the restaurant as well. At other restaurants, the standard amount of rice for Hitsumabushi is 300g, which is too much for the elderly, so being able to choose is appreciated. Unfortunately, the broth for the chazuke is too salty and has a weak aroma, which masks the flavor of the eel. It would be sufficient to serve it with just the aroma of the broth without seasoning. For those who find it bland, I recommend adding more sauce. Please keep the seasoning separate, as it is different from the clear soup. I will visit once a month, so thank you in advance.

It was crispy and juicy! My family has someone who is not good with eel, so we couldn't go eat unagi often, but I'm happy we could go together since there are other menu options! I will go eat again!

I visited with a reservation at 5 PM on a weekday. I conquered all four private rooms of Unakichi that I hoped for. Since I have an elderly mother, it is calming. There are usually 3 to 4 people each time, so we can relax slowly. What was disappointing was that the ordering method using tablets, which has become more common recently, was turned off. It seemed that there was a customer with children before us? I had the menu for verbal orders in my head, so I ordered three Takumi Mabushi with two small rice and one medium rice. Since I have visited many times, I was able to handle it, but customers who are not used to it might feel uncomfortable? Please do not forget to be considerate.
