This is a calming soba restaurant that quietly exists in a residential area, resembling a private home. When you take off your shoes at the entrance and step into the tatami room, you can see the courtyard through the shoji screens, which is very comforting. First, you are served fragrant soba tea and gently flavored simmered dishes, allowing you to relax slowly. The tempura is crispy and includes a generous variety of shrimp, wild vegetables, burdock, eggplant, and bell peppers. The cold soba is 100% buckwheat, while the warm soba seems to be 80% buckwheat, and both the seiro (cold soba served on a bamboo tray) and warm soba have a wonderful aroma and a firm texture. You can also enjoy small side dishes and extra soba, and I was satisfied all the way to the sweet stewed apples at the end.
