It is a charming building facing the street, with the elegance of a registered tangible cultural property. Climbing the stairs beside the building, you can relax in a private room on the second floor. The shojin ryori (Buddhist vegetarian cuisine) features tempura and simmered dishes, beautifully arranged and uplifting to the mood. Prepared without meat or fish, and without using bonito broth, it showcases the quality of the ingredients. The sesame tofu is smooth and jiggly, and its pale beauty is enchanting. Inside the shop, there are also prayer beads and Buddhist implements on display, allowing you to enjoy the essence of Mount Koya in a historically rich atmosphere.
