As you pass through the first-floor roasting area and ascend the stairs, a calm space filled with the warmth of wood unfolds before you. Even before taking a seat, the fragrant aroma of roasted coffee wafts gently, heightening your anticipation. The cup of Guatemalan coffee served to me has a subtle citrus scent and richness, making it very easy to drink. The tart tatin-style cake, generously made with apples, is substantial in size, and its homemade gentle sweetness is delightful. There is a wide variety of Western-style sweets, including kiwi shortcake and smooth coffee jelly, all of which pair excellently with coffee. Spending time at the quiet counter seats while gazing at the scenery is very pleasant, and I found myself lingering longer than intended.
