Miso Ramen Specialty Restaurant Lunch at a ramen restaurant I was curious about We visited on a Sunday after noon. Although it was past its peak, the restaurant was still full, so we entered after a while. The restaurant was well-prepared for Corona with a partition and a good distance between the seats. This restaurant specializes in Miso Ramen! There were four soups to choose from: Shinshu Miso, Kyushu Mugi Miso, Hokkaido Miso, and Ise Miso! I ordered the Ise Miso Meat and Negi Ramen for 968 yen, the limited time offer Sesame Miso Cold Noodle for 935 yen, and Miso Fried Rice (small) for 330 yen! Both types of noodles are medium-thick and frizzy. The Ise Miso was a slightly dark red miso, but it was rich and delicious! The cold noodle soup was not so much miso but citrusy and refreshing. The cold noodle was easy to eat with a refreshing citrus type soup, but the noodles were quite hard, probably due to the cold water, so I was full soon and had to leave them behind. The fried rice was not as miso-like as it looked, but it was rich and tasty. It was my first time to try miso fried rice, but I felt that it goes well with fried rice. I thought it was similar to a ramen shop I had eaten at in Aichi Prefecture before, and when I looked it up, it turned out to be the same family restaurant! I will make love to you if you like miso and compare different kinds of miso! Thanks for the food!
