In a quiet residential area, I was already excited as I approached this calm shop. The small plate set features a variety of colorful side dishes, each with its own personality, making it enjoyable just to look at. Every side dish has a gentle flavor typical of Kyoto, and the subtle acidity in the simmered hijiki seaweed was particularly impressive. The shrimp tempura had a crispy batter, and the hamburger steak was firm, with juices bursting out the moment I broke it apart with my chopsticks. The stylish interior is so popular that it quickly fills up, especially with female customers, but a relaxed atmosphere flows throughout. There is a parking lot, making it easy to stop by by car, and I appreciate that takeout bento boxes are also available.

The plates of rapeseed flowers and new potatoes evoke the feeling of spring, and each offers a different flavor that excites the senses. The cabbage-filled menchi katsu has a crispy coating, and the sweetness inside spreads happiness. The chawanmushi-style bowl hiding eel is soothing as the gentle dashi seeps in. The duck nanban with soba noodles and the grilled salmon sushi pair well together, providing enjoyment without getting boring until the end. The interior is tastefully decorated with ample seating, allowing for relaxation even when dining alone. The finishing touch, the orange rare cheesecake, is refreshing and pairs well with coffee for a clean taste.
