As I sat at the counter, the kind owner casually spoke to me, which made me feel relieved. The soybeans served as an appetizer were lightly sweet, allowing me to immediately feel the essence of Kagawa. The sashimi of sea bream, amberjack, and octopus was firm, and the freshness of the Setouchi region spread across my tongue. The lightly boiled eel with plum sauce was refreshing and made me eager for the next drink. The seafood skewers, lightly fried, paired well with both salt and sauce, and I didn't feel weighed down until the end. Sipping on local sake from Kagawa while warming my body with miso chanko brought me happiness, and I couldn't help but smile.
