Upon entering the store, I was excited to see glossy sofas and comic book figures lined up, making it feel like a set from an old American movie. The rock and oldies music flowing from the speakers was pleasant, and I naturally found myself tapping my feet as I took my seat. The signature hamburger featured a fluffy, light bun paired with a thick patty, leaving a surprisingly light aftertaste. Even with the addition of melting cheese and a soft-boiled egg, it was not overwhelming, and the lightly sweet sautéed onions provided a nice accent. The thin fries served as a side had a delightful crunch, perfectly complementing the burger. The friendly owner engaged in conversation, making me feel that the comfort of the place was part of the experience.
