Upon entering the restaurant, there is a red counter and table seating, creating an atmosphere typical of a town Chinese restaurant. The ankake yakisoba arrives on a large plate, and I was first surprised by the heavy sauce that seemed about to overflow. The soy sauce-based sauce is slightly sweet and packed with ingredients like pork, Chinese cabbage, shrimp, carrots, and wood ear mushrooms, offering a rich flavor. The thin noodles are well-fried and mix well with the sauce, allowing me to enjoy it hot until the very end. A miso soup with seaweed and chopped green onions comes with the meal, providing a comforting pause after the strong flavors. Despite the generous portion, I couldn't stop eating, and I found myself wanting to try the salt-flavored mixed noodles and the fragrant gyoza next.
