Izakaya Whale opened on the ground floor of the Atlas Tower in front of Kusatsu Station, and the manager, a young man, provides pleasant customer service. The restaurant offers support tickets available only to Kusatsu citizens, who can purchase a special ticket to enjoy a meal. All the dishes we had were delicious, including the hot yakko with quail egg and cheese and pepper as an entree, pork cheese roll with shiso and ume plum, homemade tsukune, junkei, and grilled chicken with white meat. The restaurant has just opened and there are high expectations for its future development.
