In a traditional Chinese restaurant located in the downtown area, there is a comforting atmosphere from the moment you step inside. The aroma wafting from the kitchen visible over the counter whets your appetite, and I couldn't help but order ramen. The light yet rich broth clings well to the yellow curly noodles, allowing you to slurp it up until the very end. The tanmen topped with crunchy vegetables is also visually appealing, and with each bite, a gentle umami spreads across your palate. The interior is warm and cozy thanks to the stove, and the friendly chatter from the couple who run the shop adds to the excellent comfort. It's no surprise that there are many regulars; I was able to slowly enjoy the taste and warmth filled with the charm of the Showa era.
