When I walked in casually, I found it to have a calm atmosphere, surprisingly spacious and comfortable. There is a counter surrounding the kitchen and a cozy raised area, making it easy to use. The fish displayed on ice is fresh, and the sashimi has distinct textures that are enjoyable. The gently simmered conger eel has a melting texture that pairs well with drinks. The fried dishes are also well done, with small fish fried to a crisp that can be enjoyed whole, including the head. The grilled whale meat releases more flavor with each bite, allowing for a leisurely enjoyment paired with sake or shochu.
