Miyazaki Airport Recommended Souvenirs Miyazaki Travel (15) I forgot to introduce souvenirs, so please bear with me for one more! I bought various souvenirs at the airport! Among them, I found a sweet potato dumpling! Karaimo? What is that? In Okinawa and Kyushu, sweet potatoes are called karaimo! This is a freshly pounded rice cake with sweet potatoes kneaded into it and covered with soybean flour. It is available with or without anko (red bean paste), so even those who don't like red bean paste can enjoy it ♡(*￫￫￫ܫฺฺฺฺฺฺฺ♡) I bought one with red bean paste (5 pieces, 525 yen). I ate it the next day and it was very sticky! It's not sweet, but you can feel the slight sweetness of the sweet potato! The red bean paste is not too sweet, but just right! Even my mother, who is picky about taste, loved it! It may have been the biggest hit this time! It is conveniently available at the Miyazaki airport, so it would make a great souvenir!
