In a traditional atmosphere, you can enjoy handmade udon and soba noodles. The aroma of miso stew whets the appetite, and the noodles, while thin, have a pleasant chewiness. Eating them with duck or mixing in a raw egg is a perfect match, and I couldn't help but savor the broth as well. The soba is said to be made in-house, and it pairs well with the flavorful dashi infused with bonito. The tempura shrimp is also plump and satisfying. I heard that they are known for their tarai udon, which heightened my expectations. It feels like a place loved by the locals, and the staff is bright and courteous, making for a pleasant experience.
