Dohtonbori Adachi Ikou

Centered on okonomiyaki and monjayaki that you can enjoy gathered around an iron griddle, there are over 200 menu items ranging from classic to unusual varieties. With many variations of ingredients, sauces, and toppings, the appeal is that you can choose to suit your taste — from the standard “butatama” (pork okonomiyaki) to “mochi mentaiko cheese monja” (rice cake with seasoned cod roe and cheese monjayaki), “mix monja,” teppanyaki, and rice dishes.

The interior mainly features table seating and teppan (iron-griddle) seating, with about 80 seats so it's fairly spacious. It has a lively, casual atmosphere where friends, family, and groups can gather around the teppan and enjoy themselves. All seats are non-smoking, parking is available, and it's easy to enter with children or a stroller; there is a children's menu and child-friendly accommodations, so families with kids can use it with peace of mind.

Dotonbori was founded in 1990 and opened its first store in Fussa City, Tokyo. After that, it expanded nationwide through franchising and has grown into an okonomiyaki chain boasting more than 200 stores today. The Adachi Iko Branch, as part of that, is beloved by local residents and continues to provide casual, easy-to-enjoy teppan-style (iron-griddle) dishes.
