A locally rooted udon chain restaurant

Uchidaya Shiraishi is an udon chain restaurant based in Fukuoka Prefecture, with locations extending into Saga Prefecture. Its appeal lies in its convenience of being open late and the consistently high quality of its dishes. The interior, after renovation, offers a calm atmosphere. The self-service pickles corner is also popular, and you may discover new charms each time you visit.

The chewy udon is very delicious. The broth, which has a gentle sweetness from the shiitake mushrooms, is memorable. The interior has a counter with partitions and small raised areas that have sliding doors, creating a calm atmosphere. Near the entrance, there is a self-service pickles bar that is fun to use. It seems that curry is also popular, and the set menus provide a sense of satisfaction. I also noticed information about domestically produced eel and large shrimp tempura, which makes me excited just to look at the menu.
