This is a calm café located near the approach to the inner shrine, and the interior, which feels warm with wood, is very comfortable. When I took my seat, the owner casually greeted me, and the fatigue from my travels melted away instantly. The Hayashi omelet rice had a gentle, homey flavor, and the small salad served alongside was fresh. The coffee brewed with a siphon was aromatic, and I appreciated the extra touch of having it poured right in front of me. There are also winter-exclusive zenzai and retro cream sodas, which are irresistible for those who love sweets. Stopping by for a break while exploring the inner shrine fills both the heart and body with warm hospitality and delicious light meals.
