I found this place while exploring the waterfalls and was drawn in by the atmosphere. It's a relaxing old house with a view of the bamboo grove, featuring a hearth and a traditional stove that adds to its charm. It's exciting to grill dried fish on a bamboo charcoal grill myself, and the aroma is irresistible. The waterfall udon has a great texture, and it pairs well with grated daikon, tempura bits, and green onions. The key is not to overdo the dipping soy sauce, allowing for a well-balanced enjoyment. The summer orange waterfall ice has a refreshing bitterness from the peel, and the fluffy ice is simply the best.
