When I arrived at the counter, the staff greeted me warmly, and I was able to relax right away. The first dish I ordered, a soy sauce-based offal hot pot, had a rich flavor yet a light aftertaste that made the soup irresistible. Next came the large fried oysters and fried shrimp, which had a crispy coating and an explosion of umami from within that was simply delightful. The sushi included squid, tuna, and eel, and the fluffy rice combined with the freshness of the toppings brought a smile to my face. The octopus with vinegar miso and the generously filled negitoro rolls were also outstanding, making it hard to put down my chopsticks with each dish. Even though the prices were not listed, I felt completely satisfied with the quality of the food and the attentive service.
