A hidden gem where you can enjoy exquisite tonkatsu

Tonkatsu Maki is a renowned restaurant nestled in a back alley of Tsutsujigaoka. The juicy and tender tonkatsu features a thin, crispy coating that is simply exquisite, surprising even first-time diners with its deliciousness. The katsu don, in particular, is a beloved dish, combining a rich sauce with the fragrant flavor of nori and a perfectly runny egg. The homey atmosphere, where you can enjoy your meal while watching TV, adds to its charm.

Tonkatsu has a light and crispy coating that releases a wonderful aroma with each bite. The thick meat is moist, and the sweetness of the fat harmonizes well with the richness of the lean meat. It arrives freshly made, making the white rice naturally go down easily. The miso soup and small side dishes are also carefully prepared, and the shredded cabbage is fresh. A plate with napolitan pasta on top of the tonkatsu is visually exciting and provides a high level of satisfaction when eaten. The katsudon features a flavorful broth that enhances the tenderness of the meat, and the pickled vegetables serve as a pleasant palate cleanser.
