A Relaxing Japanese Café Renovated from a Meiji-Era Warehouse

This Japanese café is housed in a brick warehouse built in 1899, and upon passing through the low sliding door reminiscent of a tea room's entrance, you are welcomed into a serene atmosphere. In addition to healthy Japanese-style lunches, a variety of handmade desserts such as cakes, parfaits, and sweet red bean soup (zenzai) are available, along with coffee and tea.

The interior, which makes use of the storehouse, is very rich in flavor, and it's exciting to enter through the low sliding door. The exposed wiring and glass shades are retro, and the use of sliding doors on the tables is interesting. The parking lot is spacious and easy to access by car. The lunch menu has a wide variety, allowing you to enjoy small portions of dishes like miso-grilled pork, fresh spring rolls, dried daikon, and fried burdock. The desserts, including cakes, parfaits, and sweet red bean soup, are all satisfying, along with options like chocolate cake, pumpkin cake, and panna cotta. The drink made with milk, banana, coffee jelly, and vanilla ice cream is delicious, making it easy to linger longer.
