I was able to slowly enjoy a relaxed atmosphere of French cuisine in Nara. The course conveyed a sense of the changing seasons with each dish, and the flow was very beautiful. Starting with a refreshing tomato, and moving on to fragrant conger eel and carefully grilled sea bream, I could really feel the flavors of the sea. The combination of Oyama chicken and figs, as well as the pairing of butternut squash and porcini mushrooms, also left a lasting impression. The grilling of the red snapper and mussels, along with the doneness of the Yamato Hinbaragi beef, was pleasant, and everything was cohesive until the end. The wine pairing elevated the dishes and allowed me to enjoy the lingering finish.
