The beef tongue is grilled properly, juicy and thick, i really want to eat another plate! the tomato salad is very special. it is peeled and sliced very thin. it can be eaten with beef tongue to relieve fatigue. the half portion is one row of tomatoes, and the whole portion is two rows of tomatoes🍅

This year I traveled alone to Sendai and ate beef tongue tataki for the first time! I was there for the beef tongue 😋. I went there for the beef tongue, but when I saw the menu, I ordered this one first! I was calling out how delicious it was, all by myself (lol)! It's not often you see such a rare dish, but when I go to Sendai again, I'm going to try this one. Oh, and I also enjoyed the beef tongue afterwards! I'll never forget it 😋. By the way, according to Sendai locals, it is a good person who chooses Kaku on his first visit to the city (lol). Well, anyway, I was satisfied 😆.

But recently, there are more and more beef tongue restaurants in Kansai, so there are more and more opportunities to eat it casually! So, let's eat beef tongue at a restaurant that does not exist in Kansai! The day before, I looked at various websites and decided to go there. Beef tongue restaurant "Kaku"! There are two stores, the main store in Brandome and the store in Denryoku Building! Please note that only the main restaurant serves lunch! The location is in the Suzuki Building in the shopping arcade. Go down the stairs to the basement, and you will find the restaurant at the far end. It is dimly lit, so you may feel a little uneasy. But, please go in with a lot of energy! It was just before 12:00 p.m. when we arrived. The restaurant is already 90% full. Counter seats on the left, small tatami room on the right! During lunch time, there are tan-yaki, tan stew, and tan curry set menus available. I'm interested in the tan stew and tan curry, but I'd have to go with the tan-yaki! Tan-yaki set meal (5 pieces) 1,700 yen The beef tongue set meal must be served with barley rice and tail soup! The amount of rice is a little too much, and I regret that I should have reduced it! But hey, barley is good for you! The tail soup is also moderately salty, gentle, and light! The tail is also small, but it is easy to eat as it comes right off the bone! The beef tongue is thick! The crispy texture is pleasant, juicy, and delicious! The beef tongue is carefully grilled over charcoal, so you can smell the aroma of the charcoal. So it may take a little time to be served. Of course! Even here! I'll have on-the-rice, lol! Rice for meat! Naturally, a ritual that must be done. I left a little bit of rice while clipping the asazuke pickles... but it was delicious! The menu was all very delicious, and the service was smooth both in serving and clearing the plates! I was wondering if there were any children's dishes, but they provided a children's chair at the tatami seating and prepared children's dishes without me having to ask. There was also a space to place a stroller near the waiting line outside, which was helpful. It was a restaurant that became a very good memory of the trip with delicious food.

The food is undoubtedly very delicious; although the waiter could only communicate in Japanese, the service was attentive and thoughtful. Unfortunately, the selection of sake in the restaurant is somewhat limited, which is a bit of a drawback.
