When you sit at the counter where the pleasant light glows, the friendly smile of the staff welcomes you. The finely textured kushi-katsu (skewered and deep-fried meat and vegetables) becomes aromatic just by being coated in sauce, and both the vegetables and meat make you want to keep eating. The signature skewers, which are three times the size, have an outstanding visual impact, and when you take a bite, the delicious flavor spreads in your mouth. When you order a set menu, seasonal ingredients are arranged in a well-balanced manner, creating an exciting anticipation for what will come next. Conversations easily arise across the counter, creating an atmosphere where even solo diners can naturally become friendly with other customers. I think it's a wonderful place where you can casually enjoy kushi-katsu and drinks while feeling the warmth characteristic of Obihiro.
