I really enjoyed the style of being able to savor a little bit of seafood and creative obanzai. First, the seasonal obanzai platter was colorful, featuring dishes like simmered squid and daikon, and vinegared octopus and cucumber, which made it hard to put down my chopsticks. The fresh fish, said to be delivered from a market in Osaka, was all plump and impressive, including red meat, medium fatty tuna, and swordtip squid. I was able to enjoy a wide range of dishes, from a large shrimp marinated in soy sauce to a fillet cutlet sandwich, not just seafood but also meat dishes. The piping hot stone-grilled seafood had a rich broth, and enjoying it while munching on grilled mackerel sushi was the perfect way to finish. The restaurant is close to the station, the interior is clean, and the cheerful service from the staff was pleasant, making it a comfortable place where I wanted to linger.
