Jiro is truly the Jiro of the eel world! By chance, I had an unearned income over the weekend & my business for the year was settled, so I went away for a bit. I had heard about this restaurant a few years ago and had always wanted to go there. The price seems to have been raised since then, but it's still a great place to eat. Unaju (Fuku) + large bowl of rice (4300 yen + 100 yen) I regret my eating habit of unconsciously saying "a large serving" when ordering food, and the amount of rice was outrageous. I think there were about 2.5 eels just by checking. There were a few things that bothered me, such as the tenderness of the meat and the feeling of small bones, compared to the eunaju at high-end restaurants, but for this price, it should be no problem. There are two types of large servings of rice: +50 yen and +100 yen. We do not recommend the +100 yen large serving, even if you are confident about your appetite, because the amount of rice is too much and the impression of the eel is diminished. The day we visited was a weekday during Christmas week, but the restaurant was almost full. On weekends, you may have to wait for more than 2 hours, so be sure to allow plenty of time.

If you want to eat a big bowl of heavyweight unaju, this is the place for you @ Edogawa. Eel WATOMU. It is a restaurant that is open only for lunch. The eel is so well arranged that it floats on the lid of the stack. If you go to other eel restaurants, it's about a third of this 🤣 The rice is also filled to the brim 💦 A true Una Universal studio lol. If you can't finish it, they will fold it for you. But still, 4,300 yen for this is cheap ❗️ but I'm starving 😭 If you're proud of your stomach, you should definitely try this 😋. I'm not sure how much I can eat, but I'm sure it's worth it.
