The restaurant, marked by a waterwheel, is located in a place that is easy to access by car. The homemade soba noodles are slightly thick and dark, and the more you chew, the more the aroma of the grains spreads, which is delightful. The dipping sauce is mildly sweet and smooth, making it a great match for the easy-to-swallow soba. The crispy tempura of shrimp and eggplant is homely, and the eggplant, in particular, was juicy. The pork in the grilled meat set meal is soaked in a sweet and salty sauce, making the rice go down easily. I thoroughly enjoyed the hearty miso soup and the pickles that I could help myself to, leaving both my stomach and heart satisfied.
