When you open the door, you are enveloped in a warmth that feels like coming home. The atmosphere is calm and traditional, and the friendly service is pleasant. The sushi is made with fresh ingredients, and the balance with the rice is excellent, especially the medium fatty tuna and sea urchin leave a lasting impression. The Hakata rolls, characteristic of Fukuoka, offer a choice of flavors from kelp and seaweed, with the spiciness of green onions and chili pepper adding a nice accent. The off-menu grilled offal is tender and fragrant, and you can even enjoy the noodles as a finishing touch.
