The taste of the food and the presentation were both very good, and the staff and the atmosphere of the restaurant were excellent. Since it was during the holiday season, I was told that some ingredients were not available, but the course meal did not make me feel that at all, and I was very satisfied. It was my first visit alone. I was seated at the counter, but the staff and a regular customer were having a lively conversation right next to me, making it not very comfortable. Given the number of seats, it might be unavoidable, but since it was my first visit alone, it would have been nice to be seated at a table. The food was decent. The octopus sashimi, clam miso soup, and homemade pudding were delicious. My relatives live near a fishing port on the Sea of Japan, so I might be somewhat critical when it comes to sashimi and sushi.
