Upon entering the restaurant, Vietnamese is spoken all around, immediately giving you a sense of being in a foreign country. The smiling staff carefully explains the menu, which is reassuring. The crispy bánh xèo is served with a mountain of vegetables and homemade sweet and spicy sauce that makes you want to keep eating. The bún tôm, with its fragrant shrimp broth, has an excellent combination of light soup and thin rice noodles. The bún chả giò with fried spring rolls and the hearty bún bò Huế are both rich in herb flavors and very satisfying. To top it off, enjoying Vietnamese coffee warms the heart.
