Sitting at the counter, the owner gently explains today's recommendations, and I feel excited. The homemade karasumi was rich and paired perfectly with sake. Next, the white shrimp tempura I ordered was crispy, and the aroma spread throughout my mouth. The simmered daikon and bonito dumplings were infused with a flavorful broth, making me smile involuntarily. The finishing touch, grilled rice balls with broth, had a subtle yuzu fragrance, and while light, it was very satisfying. The variety of alcoholic beverages is abundant, and the flexibility of having tequila alongside traditional Japanese food makes this place a lot of fun.
